Watched this think a week back with Keith and WX and its a treat from Keith!

I heard it was good through Grayson and my father who said Denzel Washington is one of the top African American around.

And it is realllly good.

Though I don't deny the first part was too slow, the foundation and the introduction part, all in all was a good storyline.
Typical American show where good triumphs evil.

Based on a true life story, Denzel Washington plays Frank Lucas who was once a Mafia boss assistant. When his boss passed away, he began to "step up" and became the top Mafia boss. As Mafia boss are generally Italians, it took a while for the police unit to track who is the one that is distributing "Blue Magic" at a cheaper yet better quality price.
Russell Crowe played the police that was in charge of tracking the head.

If you are wondering how did Frank Lucas did to provide a cheaper yet better quality drug, he did it by undercutting a middleman.

Its 2 hour and 40 minutes but its worth the watch really.
